REMINDER #1: TOMORROW - Tuesday, July 30th, is our day of prayer and fasting! Join together in this day of sacrifice and prayer that God will provide the workers for His vineyard. 40 Days for Life requires many man hours to make it succeed. Our volunteer service is the least we can give back to Him who gave us life. Fast and pray tomorrow that our volunteer meeting will yield the laborers needed for a fruitful fall 40 Days for Life campaign!

With your volunteer efforts and prayers, minds and hearts will recognize the truth about abortion; then finally the doors of all abortuaries will close, including those of Planned Parenthood.

Sidewalk Counseling Training Session - Sign Up at the Volunteer Meeting!
Want to turn victims away from Planned Parenthood? There will be a Sign-Up Sheet at the Volunteer Meeting on Wednesday for those who are interested in learning how to counsel on the sidewalk. If you'd like to learn from those experienced in this special mission, you'll have the opportunity to sign up that evening. If there is enough interest, we will hold a training session before 40 Days for Life. You can also send an email to info@vigilforlife.org.

Prayer Request - Please pray for one of our prayer warriors who will undergo skin cancer surgery on Tuesday and is offering up her suffering: "I have been told I will end up with a hole in my nose and when I think of this I will think of those mothers that are pregnant and I will beg God to let those mothers choose life so they won't end up with a hole in their hearts. In the afternoon on July 30th I will be having a surgical repair by ENT to fix the removed tissue from my nose, and I will be praying for those unfortunate babies who were considered to be tissues instead of babies and for their mothers and fathers, doctors and nurses who didn't see them as babies either and chose to abort." Pray for her as she carries her cross....
Rosary Rally - Every Thursday at 7:00pm with Fr. Rick Heilman at the State St. steps of the Capitol. Last Thursday rain kept threatening to make it a soggy prayer vigil. It sprinkled on and off throughout the hour, even though the forecast said it would storm at 7:00. At 8:00pm when everyone got in their cars, the skies opened. Our Lady protected us once again!
