REMINDER: Stations of the Cross Tomorrow and ANOTHER Incredible Finding!

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Make your presence with us at the Stations of the Cross a part of your holy Good Friday services!  Join your fellow Vigil for Life prayer warriors, Fr. Rick Heilman, and the Knights of Divine Mercy as we walk and pray each station for the unborn who have died, the parents who have been wounded, and the end of abortion.

Stations of the Cross TOMORROW
Time:  10:00am
Location:  Planned Parenthood (3706 Orin Rd. on Madison's east side)
Parking:  Please park on the street only and NOT in the Women's Care Center parking lot.  (MATC is on spring break so parking on the street will be easier.)
One More Thing:  DO NOT STAND OR WALK ON PLANNED PARENTHOOD PROPERTY!  They will be open and watching so please stay on the sidewalk or terrace (between the sidewalk and the street).  Let's not give them a reason to call the police.

The Turnaways Continue....
God rewarded us again on Wednesday, an abortion day, with TWO MORE TURNAWAYS!  Hopefully, this isn't sounding commonplace or routine to you!  As you may have noticed, this news is increasingly becoming a "normal" part of the emails.  Your prayer and witness on the sidewalk is definitely having an effect!  It shows what can happen with sacrificing an hour a week or an hour a month can produce.  "Knock and the door shall be opened".

One couple was ready to enter the abortuary until they heard they could get a free pregnancy test at the Women's Care Center.  That was all it took!

The second occurred when two young girls entering the parking lot announced they were against abortion, heard about the dangers of contraceptive methods, and turned around to leave.  The shocker came as they were leaving!  They told us that, when they called Planned Parenthood and asked about a pregnancy test, they were told NO PREGNANCY TEST UNLESS YOU'RE GOING TO END THE PREGNANCY!!  They then drove over to the Women's Care Center.  We were unable to gather more details but, if this is accurate, we should be filling the sidewalk with prayer warriors every hour they're open!  This is NOT even close to counseling nor is it "choice"!

We have a responsibility and a duty to save young women and their babies from this victimization.  Our Lord has told us...."Whatsoever you do to the least of my brethren, that you do unto Me."
I know many of you will be out of town for Easter so here's a reminder to take a look at the Vigil for Life calendar TODAY - It's not up to somebody else to fill the schedule.  We ALL must respond!

Great News to Report and Our Sign Changes Hearts!

What better way to begin a week than hearing this - your prayers have been answered!  As you recall, urgent prayers were requested of you for a 14 year-old mother whose parents are divorced and who was contemplating abortion.  We have just received word that she has signed up with an adoption agency and a family will be paired with her.  Praise God that through your persistent asking, this child will be born and this vulnerable young mother spared a life of anguish and regret due to abortion!
In addition, we had another turnaway last Friday.  When hearing that she could get a free ultrasound at the Women's Care Center, a young woman opted for services there, stating that she didn't believe in abortion.

PLUS - There are so many ways in which the Holy Spirit is working that we are unaware!  We have been passing a sign from hour to hour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the killing abortion days, that reads: "Praying for you and baby."  Last week a prayer warrior told of a man who was driving by, pulled over, and said that this is the first sign he has seen in the pro-life movement that he could respect and get behind.  She explained that we are not about judgment but rather a message of hope.  We are changing hearts and minds in "baby steps" like this.  One day the culture will be life-focused....but only with your prayer and witness.

"Knock and the door shall be opened...."  Let us thank God for these gifts and let us use these "yes" responses to motivate and sustain us as we witness in prayer on the sidewalk.

But as Luke says.....

"We are unprofitable servants; we have only done our duty." - Lk 17:10

This is what God asks of us.  Being pro-life should not just be a private, personal belief but spelled out in our words and actions.  Otherwise it is a light hidden under a bushel basket.  Come show your light and "do your duty" as Luke says above.  There are way too many hours this week to fill!

Can You Help Fill These Hours?
  • Monday, 3/18/13:  1 person at 9:00am
  • Tuesday, 3/19/13:  1 person at 10:00am, 2 at 9:00, noon, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00pm - 13 OPEN HOURS!
  • Wednesday, 3/20/13:  1 person at  8:00am, 10:00am, and 2:00pm; 2 people at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, and 5:00pm - 15 HOURS TO FILL!

  • Friday, 3/22/13:  1 person at 1:00 and 2:00pm
There are 2 weeks left in the Lenten season so there is still time to sacrifice to Our Lord for all He has done for us.  We need you especially on Tuesday and Wednesday, the abortion days!  Please go to vigilforlife.org/calendar/monthview to sign up.  You can also contact info@vigilforlife.org to sign up.

Miracles at Orin Road, Too Many Open Hours on Tuesday!

Dear Friends,

Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.  (Prov. 24:11)

Last Wednesday this is exactly what two prayer warriors did!
A couple, who initially entered Planned Parenthood, changed their minds after seeing Rosaries in the hands of two praying volunteers.  That was all it took!  They came out, asked questions, and found out about the free services at the Women's Care Center.  When asked if this was what influenced them, they said, "No, it was your Rosaries."  At this, both prayer warriors gave them their Rosaries and all hugged each other.  The couple then headed over to the Women's Care Center and came out later shouting, "We're going to have a baby!"  All glory to God!

What a blessing to be out there that day!
A second couple turned away from Planned Parenthood to go to the Women's Care Center upon hearing about their free services!

The power of prayer was unmistakable this day. Your Rosary is an incredible weapon to use in the spiritual warfare going on out there.  Sign up for hours, especially on Tuesdays (9am to 5pm) and Wednesdays (8am to 6pm), when abortions are done all day long.  You could experience the joy these two prayer warriors did by saving a life!

Last Friday was a busy day at Planned Parenthood.  In the words of a sidewalk counselor, "At least 12 couples were there for first appointments (for abortions)....."  Prayer and vigilance are the key!  Choose an hour and join us.  You will see the Holy Spirit work through you!

Please go to vigilforlife.org/calendar/monthview to view the open hours and sign up.  You can also contact info@vigilforlife.org to sign up.
