It Was Quite the Week!

This was indeed a week of "highs and lows" for those on the sidewalk at Planned Parenthood. The parking lot was full on Tuesday; it looked like another busy abortion day was unfolding.  Women and couples entered and left without responding to offers of help.  Most didn't even acknowledge that prayer warriors were there, staring straight ahead, expressionless as they crossed the lot and entered the abortuary.  To those out there praying, it appeared to be a very discouraging day.

Then came Wednesday!
  • Two cars went by, honked and gave a thumbs up.
  • A passerby on his way to the bus stop took time to tell a prayer warrior what he observed on Tuesday - how two girls left the Planned Parenthood parking lot and headed to the Women's Care Center.  When he saw this, he turned to his friends, "See?  It works!  A life was just saved!"  He was very excited and wanted her to know that PRAYERS WORK AND HE WAS THANKFUL WE ARE OUT THERE!
  • Near the end of the day, two prayer warriors reported that a pregnant mother with two toddlers stopped by.  She was planning to go to Planned Parenthood to set up an appointment (they think to end the child's life).  They gave her pro-life literature and stayed until closing.  The mother never went in. Please pray that their kind words and pro-life material will guide her to choose life.
Your presence and prayer reaches even those with no connection to Planned Parenthood, ones who are just walking or driving by on their way to somewhere else.  These occasions are also prayers answered, recognitions that life ends in this place and something is being done to change that.

Then Friday came.... Please pray for a young couple  in the parking lot who seemed scared and confused, in need of our prayers.  They too were counseled and given literature.  Please ask Our Lord to show them the way!

Jesus calls us to be Good Samaritans and treat others with mercy.  Walking and praying on the sidewalk are acts of mercy to those going astray, instructing observers to "Go and do likewise."  Open hours are listed below.  It's time to say yes to God's call; we ALL can give an hour for LIFE!
