Look At These Accomplishments! Other Announcements!

Amidst the difficult news in our country today, many good things are happening because of your prayer vigil on the sidewalk. We must move ONWARD, as David Bereit illustrated Monday night on the 40 Days for Life webcast and become more involved than ever for the Pro-Life cause.

  • This fall's international campaign:  789 babies saved (that we know of!), 6 abortion workers quit, and 1 abortion center closed during the last week of 40 Days for Life!
  • Since the beginning of 40 Days for Life:  6717 lives saved, 75 abortion workers have quit, 25 abortion centers have closed!
  • Here in Madison -  last week we had a turnaround at Planned Parenthood!  A couple exited and drove across the street to the Women's Care Center.  Praise God!
  • And we received the following report:  Since the opening of  the Women's Care Center on Orin Rd. last January, 5 clients have delivered babies and 3 more will be born before the end of this year!  Plus....the WCC is increasing their staff!  (See the specifics in the Courtesy Announcements below.)  If you have been out on the sidewalk to pray since the WCC opening, you probably have noticed the steady increase in activity, prompting Planned Parenthood to plant a sign to clarify their entrance....think business may be on the decline???
We need to keep a year-round presence out there!  Witness and prayer on the sidewalk are crucial to draw more business to the Women's Care Center and close down the holocaust at Planned Parenthood, especially now that we know that almost a half billion dollars will be dumped on their doorstep as a result of the election.
So now we are into the 365 for Life vigil:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday:  9:00am - 11:00am
  • Thursday:  1:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Friday:  1:00pm - 3:00pm
Have you signed up for hours yet?  We need you to help in order to add to the positive things listed above!  If you can commit to a monthly day and time slot or go to vigilforlife.org/calendar/monthview and sign up for next week, you will save many phone calls.  You can also contact info@vigilforlife.org to sign up.

This week is full, thank God, but next week has the following openings:
  • Tuesday, 11/20/12:  No one has signed up - 2 people needed at 9:00am and 2 needed at 10:00am
  • Wednesday,11/21/12:  1 person needed at 9:00am
  • Thursday, 11/22/12:  1 person needed at 3:00pm, 1 at 4:00pm, 2 people needed at 5:00pm
  • Friday, 11/23/12:  1 person needed at 1:00pm, 1 needed at 3:00pm
A vigil captain is still needed!  The vigil captain who was slated for week 4, which is next week, has switched to being captain for week 5.  If you can be that captain, please call or email me.  With your help in filling these hours, we can add to the wonderful totals listed at the beginning of this message!

Prayer Intention For Today:
Pray that volunteers will replace exhaustion or discouragement with rejoicing over the miracles we have seen thus far, and enthusiastic service as God takes us on to victory!
Let us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we sing to You a new song, for You have done marvelous things. Forgive us when we allow circumstances to defeat us. You give power to the faint and You increase strength in those who have no might.
We rest in You dear Lord, and ask You to empower us again for Your service as You work out Your plan for us and through us.
May You receive glory through our victory in Christ, in whose name we pray, amen.
