The Parking Lot Was Full!

It was quite a sight to see last Wednesday morning when prayer warriors arrived at 7:30am to see Planned Parenthood employees and their victims drive in and wait for the abortuary to open at 8:00am.  Employees entered and prepared for the day's work of ending life and adding to the coffers of Planned Parenthood, always at the expense of the women and men who didn't know where else to turn and, of course, at the expense of the innocent and defenseless.  This went on throughout the day, the coming and going, faces and body language showing despair, discomfort, and sadness.  It was the same profile on Tuesday.  The hours were different but the parking lot was full, lives were changed, and lives were lost.

We are now entering the first full week of Lent.  How are you doing on your sacrificial offerings so far?  "Could you not spend one hour with Me?"  Take a look at the vigil calendar and you will see many openings this week.

In solidarity with 40 Days for Life, the 40th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, and the 40 days of Lent, we have added hours on Tuesday and Wednesday and desperately need your help.  We are in need of prayer warriors out on the sidewalk from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday and from 8am to 6pm on Wednesday. This is in addition to the regular hours previously scheduled during 365 for Life.

Without our presence on the sidewalk, those entering Planned Parenthood, as well as those who drive by, will think it's an ok place to go, that nothing that goes on within those doors is wrong.  We can and do make a difference!  But we can't do it without ALL of you making a sacrifice!  We need individuals, pastors and parish/church groups, whoever believes that life is a gift and a right to commit to an hour or more of prayer and witness!

Please go to vigilforlife.org/calendar/monthview to view the open hours and sign up.  You can also contact info@vigilforlife.org to sign up.

As you can see, we have a long way to go in filling the schedule this week.  Do not expect someone else to fill that hour; it's time to be a part of God's plan to change hearts and end abortion in all its forms.  Please sign up now!

"Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter." -  Prov 24:11

Please continue to pray for the young mother who was scheduled for an abortion consultation appointment a few weeks ago.  She and the father of her child had a follow-up visit at the Women's Care Center, saw an ultrasound of their baby, and left pleased and in anticipation.  However, the follow-up appointment with Planned Parenthood has not been canceled so keep praying that, through the support and counseling they are receiving, they will give their child the right to live.
